OGS Util ExtractSurface not working for 2D problems?
Description
Having created a boundary mesh with the util ExtractBoundary, different boundary surfaces can be created w.r.t. the face normal using the other util ExtractSurface. This works fine for 3D, but can it also handle 2D problems?
Steps to Reproduce the Problem
- ExtractBoundary -i my2DMesh.vtu -o my2DMeshBoundary.vtu
- ExtractSurface -i my2DMeshBoundary.vtu -o my2DMeshBoundaryRight.vtu -x 1 -y 0 -z 0
Expected behavior: 1D right boundary (a meshed line/curve)
Actual behavior:
