Add time as independent variable for medium properties

This MR adds time to the possible independent variables usable for Linear, Curve, Exponential and Function properties

  1. Feature description was added to the changelog
  2. Tests covering your feature were added?
  3. Any new feature or behaviour change was documented? only changed in Function property. The other properties are documented in a more general sense, so IMO no changed needed.
